In June, Lauren and I headed up the coast to the Lost Rocks of Humboldt County for some seaside bouldering. Unfortunately, Lauren had injured herself two days prior and was unable to climb. Fortunately, the Lost Rocks and surrounding area are a great place to chill, hike, birdwatch, lay on the beach, and generally goof off. We stayed at Kamp Klamath, a privately run campground which turned out to be one of the most beautiful places I have camped, so lush and peaceful. The saturday night barbecue that the camp hosts is pretty amazing. All in all it was a wonderful and relaxing way to spend a week. Oh, and some bouldering happened also.
