In late May, Lauren and I headed up to Tahoe where
Noah Kaufmann kindly showed us around some of the Markleeville areas. First we visited the Ronin Boulder, but I was so busy hurling myself at the many cool problems that I didn't manage to take any decent photos. Next we headed up canyon to try the amazing problem
King Kong. No one could finish it that day, not even Noah. The next day we headed up to DL Bliss state park to check out the excellent granite. The highlight of the day was the classic Gunslinger v5, and the amazing highball Bliss Arete v4.
